This is our building lot before clearing.

This picture, taken on August 6, is of Blair Otts, Rachel's dad, helping JJ stake the corners of the
house in preparation for excavating the basement.

This picture was taken on 8/23 and shows the basement walls after the forms were removed.

I went by the site early on 8/24, and the waterproofing had already been completed. Must have happened the evening
of 8/23.

The brick work was completed on 9/3.

I liked this picture of the beams that will be supporting the house. We used Metalcraft out of Durham...Tony and
Chuck are great to work with!

Here is the house as of 10/7. All of the rooms on the first floor have been framed. In addition, the floor
joists for the second floor are complete and the plywood sheathing is completed on the first floor.

Here is a picture as of October 13. The sub flooring on the second floor is complete and the front porch roof has
been framed. Roof framing will begin next week!

Here is a view of the left/rear of our house as of 11-2.

Here is the house as of 11/14. The framers started setting winows today. The stamped concrete was washed
and sealed, and the guy building our deck got started today. I hope to have the deck and framing done by the end of
the week so we can get siding on next week and have the plumbers and HVAC guys get started.

Here is a close-up of the stamped concrete.

I love this picture. This is the view from the deck.

Here is the house as of 11-18. The framers are done and the rough-in crews are getting in there now. We hope
to have siding and shingles going on in the next couple of weeks.

Here is the house as of 12/24. They have the columns on the front porch. Now all the exterior needs is a
good coat of paint, some grading and landscaping....wish I could say the same for the interior!
