A common response we get from medical professionals and others when we tell them we are pregnant with quads is, "And
you are keeping all of them?"
Our view on this is really very simple. God decided to bless us with four babies, so who are we to decide to get
rid of any of them? Even if we did not have a strong faith, we probably could not go forward with a reduction.
Our desire to have another child has been very strong and has required substantial emotional, financial, and time sacrifices.
How can you want children so badly, and then make the decision to reduce after learning that things did not work the way you
had planned? Imagine 10 years from now. How could we look at the four of them and say, which one of them would
we not want to have? Plus, the reduction procedure is not without risks. Some women who have undergone this have
ended up losing their entire pregnancy.
We have also heard of the horrible stories of families that have made the decision to reduce, only to regret the decision
later on. In our eyes, there is only one clear answer - embrace what God has given us!
